An oil burning 0-4-0T (Tank) locomotive, #1001 was built in 1936 for the Seaboard Air Line by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia, PA. It weighs 108,000 lbs and has 42” drivers and 16” x 24” cylinders. Operating at a boiler pressure of 180 psi, it delivered 22,400 lbs tractive effort. It worked in the Fort Lauderdale, FL, yard and may have been the first switcher used in that yard.

The engine was first placed on display in Columbus, GA, in May of 1958 but, at some point, it was donated to the City of Fort Lauderdale, FL. It is now on display in Holiday Park, but looked a bit ragged when I visited.
